Curriculum

Little People's Greater            Life has a 40 curriculum weeks and 9 weeks of Summertime Fun Activities (June-July)

During Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's weeks, there will be no ABEKA curriculum. Children will still be participating in story-time, sing-a-longs, art activities, learning centers, constructive playtime, and mid-year reviewing and assessments.

The Toddler room does the thematic Early Start Curriculum year round. Each week pertains to a new theme. Developmentally appropriate observation and assessment will be administered by the teachers.

Children 3 years and older use the ABEKA Curriculum which is an advanced curriculum that provides major cognitive stimulation. When young minds are being stimulated through a learning environment, a child is able to reach his/her maximum learning potential.

Infants of two years of age use the Creative Curriculum and teachers use the Developmental Milestone Observation and Assessment tool.

While Little Peoples Greater Life is considered to be in the outskirts of Houston, being around 25 miles from downtown Houston, Little Peoples Greater Life (on line as www.DayCareHouston.net) has been serving families and communities from and around NASA and Clear Lake, Friendswood, Webster, Houston, Galveston, Rosharon, Alvin, Baytown, Sugarland and other areas mainly because either the people live close by and they trust us with their kids, they work close by and they trust us with their children or in many cases, the parents drive miles because of the service provided here. Children right from infancy age to 12 years, all brought from around Houston area very quickly learn to adjust in fun and learning environment. They make friends with other children from all over Houston in no time and they come home more confident and happy. With so much fun it is hard for kids not to learn and want to get back the next day just so they can be with their new friends!
